    Description

    VINTAGE COLCLOUGH ~ № 6574 FLORAL TRIO ~ TEACUP SAUCER & TEA PLATE
    DESCRIPTION
    – Teacup, saucer & tea plate are scalloped bone china.  Pattern is № 6574.  Motif is purple lavender landscape with pink, yellow & blue flowers, green foliage with gold trim & accents.  Teacup holds approximately 6 ounces.  In the 1930’s Colclough produced bone china for the everyday market.
    DIMENSIONS
    –
    Cup is approximately 3” tall with a 3 ¼” rim diameter.  Saucer diameter is approximately 5 ½”.  Tea plate diameter is approximately 6 ¼” square.
    CONDITION
    –
    Trio previously owned with no obvious crazing, cracks, or chips.  Gold trim & accents are slightly worn & rough which may be from the production of a lesser quality for the everyday market.
    BRAND
    – Colclough pattern № 6574 is discontinued.  Backstamp was used from 1939 to 1940’s.  Trio made in England.
